Peter Cain, President and COO, National Maintenance Contractors
Peter is the President and COO and oversees all of NMC’s operations. Peter has over 30 years of experience in the facility services industry and has been in leadership roles for the past 20 years. He has held positions in both operations and sales and his multidepartment experience has given him a wide range of knowledge. His areas of expertise include multi-unit P&L analysis and expense control; sales leadership; recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and retaining employees; change management; expansion and new market development; concept branding and marketing; franchise development and relations; contract negotiations; and national account management.
Peter is a Certified Building Service Executive and a Registered Building Service Manager through Building Service Contractors Association International. He is also a Certified Franchise Executive through the International Franchise Association and a Certified Hospital Environmental Service Professional through the American Hospital Association.
Evan Shimoshimaru, Area Director WA, National Maintenance Contractors
Evan Shimoishimaru is the Area Director for NMC Franchising LLC. He oversees all of NMC’s operations throughout Western Washington.
Evan has over 15 years of experience in the facility services industry and has been in a leadership role the past two years. He has held positions in both operations and management and his multidepartment experience has given him a wide range of knowledge. His areas of expertise include P&L analysis and expense control; recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and retaining employees; franchise development and relations; contract negotiations; and client retention.
Evan earned a baseball scholarship out of HS and received his Associate of Arts degree at Tacoma Community College. After receiving his Arts degree, Evan earned a scholarship to the University of Washington where he received his bachelor’s degree in communications.
Alison Baecker, Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration, National Maintenance Contractors
Alison is the Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration. Her primary responsibilities are developing and executing key strategies to support NMC’s overall business plan and strategic direction of the Division. Alison brings over 30 years of experience in IT and finance. Her areas of expertise include business system implementation; executive leadership; business process improvement; IT strategy; ERP and SAP implementations; business intelligence and data analytics; and finance. Alison holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University with a specialization in Management Information Systems. She also completed the Wharton School of Business Leadership Program.
Mike Firth, Human Resources Director, National Maintenance Contractors
Mike is the Human Resources Director and oversees our talent acquisition, management, and retention efforts. Mike has over 25 years of experience in human resources within several industries and has been in leadership roles for the past 20 years. He has held positions in both human resources and talent acquisition and his multidepartment experience has given him a wide range of knowledge. His areas of expertise include talent attraction, talent management, talent retention, training, employee relations, M&A’s, policy revision and development, leadership, and change management. Mike received his bachelor’s degree in sociology from California State University at San Marcos and Master’s degree in counseling from National University, San Diego.
Tim Corbett, Director of Sales, National Maintenance Contractors
Tim Corbett as the Director of Sales for our Western Division. Mr. Corbett brings many years of sales, sales leadership, and operations experience. His most recent work experience was at Kimco Services, where he was the Regional Vice President. Prior to working at Kimco, Tim was the Director of Sales for Eurest Services.
